Forced Pipelines Circuit

Forced Pipelines Circuit

Témiscaming, Témiscamingue

The Témiscaming Forced Pipelines Circuit have marked the city's urban landscape and the collective memory of Témiscaming residents for decades, both through their imposing size and the segmentation they created.

The Témiscaming Conduites Forcées interpretation trail traces the history of these old pipes, which carried the water needed to operate the Kipawa hydroelectric power station on Lake Témiscamingue from the Lumsden Dam.
